Myna
Common Myna (Acridotheres tristis) birds, in the starling family (Sturnidae), are very common in urban areas here on Oahu. I snapped this photo in front of our local grocery store. They were introduced from India in 1865 when Hawai'i was a unified kingdom. In India mynas appear in classical Indian literature. Some mynas can talk as in this video.
